What we did as soon as we arrived at SG From terminal
1, walked towards the exit and took the free shuttle going to terminal
2.. Went to parking area and looked for information to reload our ez link card.. Took bus 24 (count up to 22 Stops) Well the actual count was only 21 stops,
Should be stopping at aljunied road, but got a bit lost so we decided to take a cab,
*I find Singaporeans nice. In fact, a number of people approached me if i needed help in finding a location. They might have noticed that I have a map with me, a huge traveling bag at my bag which makes me look like an obvious traveler(not a tourist ofcourse)
The cab took us to hotel fragrance ruby and cost $5.35 including the $ 0.33 Used our ez-link card to pay the taxi.. (The taxi looks like a plain white old style car, there are some cabs that seems luxurious and according to some blogs, these cabs have higher drop down rates)
We left our bag in the hotel luggage room, ate in a food stall along Geylang road..Indian food worth $10 2meals for two
Walked towards the street and reached a waiting shed and took a bus, went to SG flyer, had picture taking, walked a bit in the esplanade area and millennium walk, took a bus and reached marina bay sands hotel, got inside and the hotel and inquire receptionist how to get to Merlion park, advise us to walk to get there..
Walked til we reached the nearest waiting shed and went to Park Mall..ate again worth $10 meals good for two without drinks..
Transferred to another mall which is you will see the word "singapura"..
Tiring load MRT card with $10 value which is the minimum..
Went to little India by bus/train..loittered within that location till we get to mustafa center..bought &50 worth of chocolates, mostly imported from Italy..
Went back to ruby, paid $175.00 went there by train.. Deposited $5 for an adaptor..had rest at our room.
